Patient Paperwork: Once you have set up an appointment to come into our clinic, our friendly staff will greet you and inform you of any necessary paperwork. We ask that you show up ten minutes ahead of your appointment to do this. To speed up that process you can print off the paperwork and fill it out ahead of time.

Consultation: Once the paperwork is completed, Dr. Hyack will do a consultation with you. This will help Dr. Hyack learn about any relevant history and health conditions, and to determine if chiropractic can meet your goals.

 

Examination: Next is the chiropractic examination. Dr. Hyack will do a computerized sEMG test. It measures the electrical activity in your muscles surrounding the spine, and it determines how well your nervous system is coping with the everyday stresses in your life. A detailed exam of your spine will locate areas of muscle spasms, swelling in the surrounding tissue, and nerve interference.

X-Ray Films: The next step is to take pictures of your spine. This will give Dr. Hyack the final bit of information to formulate a treatment plan that is tailored specifically to you. This will conclude the visit for the first day, and the staff will set up an appointment the following day to go over everything.

 

Report of Findings: The next visit is extremely important because after the doctor reviews the file he will go over it in detail with you and anyone else whom may wish to see the results. Many patients are excited about this because Dr. Hyack will go over the X-Ray films and you can see exactly where the problems are.
